I just returned from visiting my sister in the ATL. We had a grand time – we got some sun, I met her friends, had a cookout, and this afternoon we visited the World of Coca-Cola. We tasted forty different Coke products. I was so happy to spend some time with her, and again it was difficult to leave. I miss her already.

My parents were here this past Mother’s Day weekend, which was also quite fun. We planted flowers (pictures are now available in the Gallery), sampled some of San Antonio’s most delicious Mexican food, spent time on the golf course, and played Scrabble.

All in all I think these past few days made for some very well timed therapy for me. The world at large, even with all its goodness, will never be as loving as my family is to me.
