Back to nature, then back home

Sunday I got to bottle feed baby lambs and hold new puppies! Visiting the country has its advantages. We had a great time in Boerne with friends. They sent us home with some farm fresh eggs that are amazingly superior to anything in the store. The puppies have another six weeks or so until they can leave their mom, and I have that long to convince Joel that we need another dog. I haven’t a chance in hell, but a girl can try.

Work has been busy as we promote Safe Spring Break 2006. Just a few more days until I’m free for a week! First we’re going to Garland for a friend’s wedding. Best of all is that I get to see Amanda – it has been way too long. Our men will get to meet for the first time, too. Mom is there, and hopefully my Dad can come from his job in California, so it will be a real live family reunion.

Sunday the Kiddn is finally taking her first plane ride. She will accompany Amanda and Cameron back to Atlanta, where I hear she has a kitty jungle gym/tree thing waiting for her. The way I figure it, we’re increasing the overall happiness of the system. Amanda, Joel, Sophie for sure, Kiddn, and probably Cameron (does he know what he is getting into?) will be happier this way. Chief and I will be sad at first, but this is really for the best.

Once we return home Kiddnless, I’ll fix our disaster of a lawn, get the house back in order, and have my last two wisdom teeth removed. And watch movies. Sweet sweet movies. We got NetFlix.
