It’s totally his loss. But who in his right might doesn’t want to taste Ina Garten’s peanut butter frosting? The whole apartment smells like a chocolate cloud while the cupcakes* cool, and the peanut butter frosting waits ever so patiently to blanket their little tops. I can understand not wanting to taste the batter, what with the raw eggs, so I stopped offering that years ago. But the frosting? Come on.
*I used 1 cup barley flour, 1/4 cup whole wheat flour, and 1/2 cup AP flour. I’m making a serious effort to reduce the amount of white flour in our diets. Baked goods are the final frontier.

A crazy man!

Sigh! Cupcakes that are Reese’s buttercup-like! It really can’t get better than that!
Sounds yummy to me.
I think Andy may need to bake those.
All I want to know is how do you stay so beautifully thing with all of these awesome things that you bake? AND how do you have TIME to bake?
They were most delicious. And Joel liked the finished product enough to say that they may be the best thing ever.
Ann, you are sweet. I know it will probably catch up with me sooner or later. I just try not to eat too many and pawn them off on friends, family, and coworkers. As for the time, I use what should be my sleeping time (bad) or I strap Zoe in a wrap and let her “help” me (better).
Feel free to drop off unwanted baked goods at my mom’s house – Liz and her fam are living there right now and her 8yo stays with us 2-3 nights per week so I see them OFTEN! I know we would all be happy to help unload all of those extras, especially anything that is of peanut butter/chocolate variety. Mom had knee replacement surgery so feel free to shower “her” with baked goods as well
