By this time next week, we will be in our new place with the truck unloaded.
Somehow, some way, this will happen… Right? I am so overwhelmed right now that I have no clue where to begin.
I guess we pack a week’s worth of stuff and start putting everything else into boxes.
In other news, Ali graduated from high school today – yay! Congratulations! Especially for the achievement of third in her class (and we hold her in even higher rank, actually). I must admit getting a little verclempt today. When I met Ali, she was a sweet little girl of ten years. Today she is a bright, beautiful woman with a lot of promise.
Needless to say it has been an eventful weekend, and tomorrow we must get cracking on this packing. Or crackin’ on this packin’, if you prefer.

No fun having to get crackin’ on packin’, but– Moving can be a good thing. One can get rid of a lot of dead wood so to speak. A move at least every 5 years should be a requirement. With 48 years in our present location, we are hopelessly lost.
