So far so good! We had our first set of lectures today - biochemistry - and a brief talk about coping with the medical curriculum. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity of this program. I am a wee bit rusty, and this is just the jump start I need. My classmates and professors are very nice, and I look forward to meeting the rest of them. I feel like such a cool kid - my badge works, and I’m learning my way around the building and the buses. Several of us have made references to feeling like kindergartners, with parents and friends checking on us and excited for us, the packing of lunches, and feeling small in a giant medical center, but by and large the group of us is pretty thrilled to be doing this.
Zoe is adapting swimmingly, due in large part I’m sure to her Gigi being here. Today she (Zoe) used her little potty chair for her first big-girl tinkle! I can’t believe it. But then again I can. She is so cute - she sits there and swings her legs, just happy as a clam. I love her.

Oooooh! How exciting - for both of you!
I bet you are so excited and full of energy! I am happy for you and I know you will do an awesome job!
Good job, Zoe!
Pat yourselves on the back for me!

Claire just decided to travel down the same path and is completing her premed stuff right now. Seems competitive no matter where you go!
