Some may recall that recently Zoe was put on a butter diet to fatten her a bit. The following checkup was disappointing to the pediatrician, who wanted to see her again in a month. At Tuesday’s appointment, Zoe measured 84.5 cm (33.3″) tall, 23 pounds 3 ounces, and her head is 48.5 cm (19.1″) around. Not exactly a beefcake, but I assure the world: she is healthy by all accounts. We have both had our flu shots, too. Off the record, I do not like the idea. But I like the idea of any of us getting violently ill even less.
She sings, dances, jumps, damn near reads books, puts the alphabet puzzle together and says the corresponding words… I have been astounded at her progress lately, physical, mental, and emotional. The poor thing: I’m pretty sure she’s brilliant.

It’s hard not to worry about her stats, but if she’s doing all those things without issues and she’s progressing well otherwise, she’s more than likely better than brilliant.
Our daughter is also a “light weight”.. most of her 2T clothes still either fits her or is too big on the waist. So we do the elastic 3T pants so it would be long enough.
Yaaaaay Zoe! She is brilliant, I just know it. After all, you are her Mama. Do kiss the little Einstein for me. Moonie her too.
Elijah, too, was put on a butter/high fat diet a few months back. It was interesting to say the least. It turned out that he really didn’t like the high fat stuff and still doesn’t. He would much rather eat broccoli and fruit. When I cook his eggs in butter, he doesn’t like it as much.
Anyhow, the doctor kept telling us to have him gain weight. It just wasn’t happening. I don’t think it’s in his genes. So to make a long story short
I agree with Jennic and Amanda. Your genius child appears to be a healthy, growing and beautiful girl. I can’t get over how fast time has flown!
