I have now re-read the syllabus, solidly, for all the pertinent lectures for tomorrow’s gross anatomy exam. This is officially the first time I have prepared appropriately for a test, any test. There’s always something else I can do, of course, so I’m not done, but I’m feeling pretty good right now.
Getting enough sleep is key, too. When I have enough sleep, I feel like I can conquer the world. I have been sleeping enough to dream lately; they consist of histological and anatomical details, peppered with the occasional biochemical pathway. Medical school is invasive – I’m even studying in my sleep. Maybe after December 19 I can have normal person dreams again. Not that I really mind.
Back to the books.
