i have TWO friends who are gluten free (celiacs) and say it made them feel like entirely new people! there are lots of websites for recipes and even "cards" that you can give to waiters at restaurants so they make sure you dont have ingredients that are not good for you...

I'm so glad to here you're feeling better! For the most part, my dairy and gluten elimination is still helping =) So greek yogurt doesn't bother you? I may try that!

Thank you. :)

Kerri, I have suspected wheat and/or gluten of irritating me for a long time. Most notably, whenever I replaced white pasta with whole wheat, I was in agony with bloat and nausea and general malaise for days afterward. I called it wheat belly. Basically she had been off it for awhile and was feeling really good, so I decided to try it. It helps me avoid white, fast, and processed food in favor of veggies and other grains. I have stopped getting the nasty mucus loogies (sp?) after eating that I ALWAYS got (TMI?) when I ate wheat. I'm not rabid about it, but it really seems to be helping. I'm going to test oats soon and see how that goes.

I'm intrigued by this gluten limiting. What is it that Jenna said that started that?
